Volunteering Scheme

Island Roads is committed to working closely with the local community.

As part of this, through our volunteering scheme, staff are encouraged to take up to two days paid leave a year in order to work with local charities and good causes. So far hundreds of days have been spent with such projects.

The projects we have worked with are varied but must support one or more of the following subjects: education, health, the environment and the economy.

Under these themes our volunteering projects have included churchyard clearance, environmental management, helping to create sports pitches, litter picks, ground maintenance and helping school projects.

If you have a project you think would benefit from the help of our volunteers, please contact us by emailing info@islandroads.com.
