Island Roads is undertaking a customer survey this autumn to gather residents’ views on the services it provides.

While the survey covers all aspects of Island Roads’ work, the organisation is keen gain more feedback on its summer season activities, so is launching its questionnaire in September.

It will be seeking views on its verge maintenance programmes, street cleansing and weed control so it can identify areas where improvements are needed.

Residents will also be able to have their say on highways maintenance activities, as well as the associated signage, diversions and communications.

Island Roads Service Director Steve Ashman said: “Island Roads undertakes a wide range of activities throughout the year, from gritting roads in the winter to weed control in the summer – along with the year-round work to maintain the Island’s highway network. We genuinely want to hear people’s views via this survey so we can see where we are getting things right and areas in which we need to improve.”

The survey will run from Monday 23 September to Friday 18 October 2024 and can be accessed online via www.islandroads.com.

Paper copies of the survey, including large print versions, are available on request by emailing info@islandroads.com or calling (01983) 822440.
