While our resurfacing work is scaled back during the winter months, there is still much work for us to do to keep the Island’s highways network safe for users. Watch our film to find out about our winter maintenance activities:

Immediate Closure for Burnt House Lane, between its junction with Pan Lane and its junction with Downend Road, Newport.

The closure is necessary to enable Island Roads to maintain safety of the network due to a fire. @iow_council

Southern Water has closed Carisbrooke Road, Newport, so it can safely undertake urgent repair work.
