Kieron Blamey, on behalf of the group said, “We are all keen runners but this is a new challenge for us and we wanted to raise as much money as possible for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust which plays such a key role in helping young people, through sailing, to regain their confidence as they recover from cancer.”

The half marathon starts at 11am from fields adjacent to West Wight Sports Centre.  The team would be grateful for any donations either via http://www.justgiving.com/Kieron-Jo-Vicky. Alternatively people can text KJBS88 and the amount they want to donate to 70070.
