Applications for grant funding from the Island of Wight Foundation must be submitted by Friday (May 5).

The Isle of Wight Foundation is the charitable body jointly funded by Ringway Island Roads, Meridiam, VINCI UK Foundation and VINCI Concessions who together make up the partnership behind Island Roads, the company that is delivering the Highways PFI.

The foundation awards annual grants of between £3,000 and £16,000 to projects supporting two key themes; access to employment and building better communities. Since 2013, more than a quarter of a million pounds has been awarded to eligible groups. Last year Independent Arts, Shanklin Football Club, Storeroom 2010, The Island Games, the YMCA and the Hampshire and IW Wildlife Trust received grants from the foundation.

Applications for this year’s awards have been invited since February and they must be received by Friday (May 5).
