Major road marking programme underway across the Island

A major programme to refresh road markings and white lines is underway across the Island.

Up to five crews will be deployed by Island Roads to paint new lines on some recently surfaced roads and to repaint other faded markings in the coming weeks.

The work is part of Island Roads’ winter programme of works that concentrates on areas other than highway resurfacing which is more prone to disruption during inclement weather.

The work should be completed without disruption to motorists.
