Please note further changes have been made to the dates over which BT Openreach will be undertaking work to divert its services as part of the Smallbrook junction improvements.
Unfortunately, due to Covid issues affecting BT’s work crews, they have been unable to start work at Ashey Road today (Friday 17th December 2021) as planned.
We are now looking to reschedule this aspect of the project in the New Year, but we remain confident this rescheduling will not affect the overall duration of the scheme.
In light of this change to the programme, we are currently looking at traffic arrangements at this junction over the Christmas and New Year period when work is paused. Our intention is to have as little traffic management in the location as safety allows.
Further announcements will be made about these arrangements over the holiday period once they are confirmed.
